Mission Statement
Team USA American Football Stars & Stripes Foundation’s (Referred as TUSAAFSSF) main goal is to support American
Football at home and in developing countries, at the Youth And Adult levels. With the growing movement of American
Football around the world, it is TUSAAFSSF’s goal to become the leading foundation that will be helping with the
growth of American Football in developing countries that need the professional guidance to produce the best
knowledgeable athletes in the sport of American Football. Education about the sport and the endless values will be another
one of the teaching tools that will be used in the development of athletes at all levels. Another concentration that the
Foundation will be focusing on will be the grass roots level, which will include going out to the locations that have never
heard or seen the great sport of American Football and helping with various educational and promotional programs that will
get more athletes involved with the sport of American Football. Affordability will be the mainstay for the programs so that
we leave no athlete in the cold on a chance to play the sport of American Football. Our tasks will not be easy but we will
work hard on making the Foundation’s point that American Football is one of the best sports that reaches out to a broad
number of athletes. The numbers that are involved in the sport, and the true meaning of togetherness will be amplified in
bringing athletes together to act as a unit and learn how to work with each other and become a winning program that
meets all its goals and the true spirit of the sport.
THE FOUNDATION.
TUSAAFSSF will consist of different programs whose main goal is to promote
American Football in developing countries around the world. TUSAAFSSF Board members will insure that the best highly trained volunteers and staff members will meet the highest level of teaching the sport of American Football along with educational programs and sustain viable club organizations that will survive with the help from TUSAAFSSF.
The staff at TUSAAFSSF will consist of Coaches, former Professional Athletes, former college athletes, former Professional Cheerleaders, former College Cheerleaders and administrators who will work in different phases of developing the programs: to include American Football Training Camps, Sports Education Clinics, Cheerleader Training Camps and Clinics.KEY ISSUES.
Short Term
Team USA American Football Stars & Stripes Foundation’s main issue will be to insure that proper promotion of the
sport is made at all levels to insure that there are no athletes left behind in getting a chance to learn the sport
of American Football. Sportsmanship will be an important factor because of the unknown cultural effect it will have on
Athletes who come to learn the sport , not just on the field but off the field. Educational programs about the sport of
American Football will be very influential in helping with the growth mainly because athletes may not be aware of
the friendships that will arise because of the spread of the sport on an international level. Facts will be collected on the
important impact the sport will have in different countries.
Long Term
Continued success in Developing Countries in the sport of American Football will create long lasting friendships that
have never been experienced before ,mainly because of the goodwill of TUSAAFSSF members. Creating a winning
atmosphere in life and sport will be a standard for the Foundation no matter where they maybe located.Fund Raising.
TUSAAFSSFF will be devoted to raising funds so that the Foundation will be able to travel to different developing countries
to create viable and sustainable programs. TUSAAFSSF will be in ongoing negotiations with different sponsors who will
become valuable contributors to the Foundation to help maintain a healthy financial stability in an unstable economy.
Below is a projection list of future companies that the TUSAAFSSF will be contacting in regard to financial support, to
include but not limited to Reebok, Nike, Russell Athletic, Riddell, Southwest Airlines, Gulfstream, Rawlings, Spaulding, And
the NFLPA to name a few. The Foundation will confirm and present quarterly lists of companies
that will support Team USA American Football Stars & Stripes Foundation.
